Everett Police Investigating Shots Fired Call Near 41st and Hoyt

Not a lot of details but Everett Police responded to the area near the 4100 block of Hoyt around 10:30 Friday night after a report of shots fired. Officers were seen checking two apartment buildings in the area. About 30 minutes after the call there was a report of a man coming into the emergency room at Providence Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound. It appears the two incidents might be related but patrol officers were in the middle of the investigation and unable to comment. We’re not expected to hear any further details until Monday but if we find anything out, we’ll pass it along.
