A long time borrowing restriction against Snohomish and Island County residents has been lifted.

For the past several years people who lived in Snohomish and Island Counties were turned away from borrowing items at the Everett Library. That’s now coming to an end. At last night’s Everett City Council meeting Everett Library staff announced the lifting of that restriction. Everett residents will still get preference on putting items on hold but now if you live in Snohomish or Island County but work or study in Everett, you can check out materials from the main branch downtown or the south Everett branch on Evergreen Way.
