Everett 4th parade

The crowd along Colby for the 4th of July parade was 3 to 4 deep last year.

Here is a brief listing of free activities for the 4th of July in Everett. There are also lots of paid events but here are the highlights of the free stuff going on…

The 1st event happens tonight July 3rd from 3pm – 11pm.
Downtown Everett Block Party. It will happen on Wetmore Avenue north of Hewitt. There will be live music, food trucks, kids games and more.

Saturday July 4th 11:00AM
Colors of Freedom 4th of July Parade in downtown Everett. Parade starts at 26th and Colby and goes south to Wall Street, East on Wall to Wetmore and then north on Wetmore to 26th.

Saturday July 4th 12Noon – 4:00PM
Public Safety Open House with demonstrations from Everett Police and Fire Departments, kids activities, Colby the Crime Dog. At Everett Police station corner of Wall and Wetmore in downtown Everett

Saturday July 4th 12Noon – 3:00PM
Fun in the Sun Street Fair with inflatables, live music, car show, pony rides and more at First Baptist Church at Pacific and Wetmore in downtown Everett

Saturday July 4th 1:00PM – 11:00PM
Colors of Freedom 4th of July Festival at Legion Park. Food Trucks, Beer Garden, live music, kids activities and the best viewing of the fireworks over Port Gardener Bay. There is no parking in the area but free shuttles run all day and after the fireworks from Everett Community College and also Everett Station.

Saturday July 4th 10:20PM
Thunder on the Bay Fireworks at the north end of the Everett Marina. The best viewing spots are at Legion Park (no parking but shuttles available from Everett Community College and Everett Station), Grand Avenue Park in the 1800 block of Grand (parking is also very hard to find in the area) and at the Everett Marina (again with very limited parking) Radio station KKXA at 1520 AM will broadcast music to go with the fireworks display.

Remember: ALL FIREWORKS ARE BANNED IN EVERETT AND EVERETT POLICE WILL HAVE EXTRA PATROLS WITH $257.00 FINE.
