Video Of King Co. Helicopter And Everett Police Capture of Felony Warrant Suspect

May 15, 2015

Everett, Police Blotter

In case you were wondering about the Police cars on the freeway and the helicopter hovering over the north Everett area Thursday night here’s the scoop. An Everett Park Ranger contacted a man and woman in a vehicle at Langus Riverfront Park. As the ranger was conducting a check on the couple they both ran. A computer check showed the man was a wanted felon. The woman was caught in a field north of the park but the man ran away from the ranger, across I-5 and along the freeway. Everett Police officers, an Everett K-9 unit and a Sheriff’s K-9 tracked the man on the east and west sides of the freeway. Everett Police requested help from the King County Sheriff’s Helicopter in locating the man. That search was successful and here’s the video posted by the KCSO of the capture.
