Parent Education On Youth Suicide Prevention in Everett Tonight

The meeting is Thursday night (May 14) at the School Resource Center at 39th and Broadway in Everett.

Tonight (Thu May 14) parents are invited to a special program on youth suicide prevention. The Program is being presented by Cascade High in conjunction with the Youth Suicide Prevention Program. Shannon Rauh, a trainer from the Youth Suicide Prevention Program in Seattle, will be presenting a program entitled Networks for Life: A Parent’s Role in Youth Suicide Prevention. She will provide information regarding myths and facts about youth suicide, signs to watch for, and strategies for helping our own children, both in the wake of the suicide of a friend and classmate, and in case they are struggling with fears or feelings of suicide.
