Fire Quickly Put Out at Highlander Apartments in North Everett

Around noon today, 9-1-1 began receiving calls about a fire at the Highlander Apartments on 11th street in north Everett. The fire was reportedly on an exterior wall of a three story building. Fire crews reported seeing a column of smoke as they were responding. Crews were able to get a very quick stop on the fire and keep it from spreading into the interior or the attic of the apartments. There were no injuries and an Everett Fire Investigator is on the scene looking into the cause.
