Everett Police Continue Advanced Notice of Traffic Emphasis

We told you in early April that Everett Police were using social media including their Everett Police Twitter Feed and Facebook page to tell people each week where they would be conducting traffic enforcement. Here’s the latest update…

Traffic Emphasis (May 3-9) moving to 1900 Broadway Ave, 4200 Federal Ave and back to 75th St & Seaway Blvd.

In announcing the effort in their initial press release, Everett Police said: “The Traffic Safety Unit conducts emphasis patrols each week based on high collision and complaint data. Patrols are designed to increase safety and change driving habits in those areas.”

No word yet on whether the program has had any impact in the number of violations found.
