Potala Place will be a unique spot in Everett.

The event will be a true farm-to-market experience, featuring locally-sourced menu items from Washington State Farms. The market’s butcher and seafood shop owner and the market’s bakery owner will be present, adding samples to the experience. In addition, the event will offer beverages provided by BlueWater Organic Distilling.

Tickets are $100 and can be purchased here: First Light Event. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Housing Hope’s Generations of Hope Campaign, a $9.4 million campaign to increase the stock of affordable housing; expand employment readiness, internships, and job programs; and enhance child development services for homeless and low-income families in Snohomish County.

With RSVP, farmers invited to attend for free. This event provides local farmers an  opportunity to promote their farms, highlight their fresh products and build connections with both Potala Farms and local consumers. Farmers interested in participating in this event are encouraged to take a look at the Farm Ingredients Needed List: First Light Menu Donations. Contributing farms will be promoted at event and in all marketing of event.

The Market at Potala Place will be a year-round indoor market featuring affordable locally grown produce, a butcher and seafood shop, a bakery, as well as prepared foods and specialty groceries. Produce and other products will be brought to the market each morning by local farmers. Some of the goods will be sold to the general public and the rest will be offered at the cafés and restaurants located within the market.

The Market at Potala Place will be a destination stop for shoppers from Seattle to Vancouver to experience the best of Washington’s foods while also adding strength to the local food movement. The apartment complex above the market and hotel next door aim to increase the number of residents and visitors in downtown Everett, potentially attracting more local businesses, boost Everett’s economy and bring vibrancy to the area. The Hampton Inn will offer long stay options for military families visiting Naval Station Everett, as well as one night bookings for individuals visiting from out of town.
