Victim of Fatal Weekend Hit and Run on 529 Was 53-Year-Old Everett Man

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has identified the person killed in a hit and run crash early Sunday morning. The M.E. says it was 53-year-old James M. Mahood of Everett, WA. The cause of death is multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is Accident. Everett Police Traffic Investigators have very little to go on. The crashed happened in the southbound lanes of 529 between Marysville and Everett around 3:00am. Conditions were extremely foggy and detectives have collected little physical evidence.
