Officers conducted a high risk felony stop on one of the cars involved.

Been a busy night for Everett Police with several unusual incidents. Around 1:30am officers were called to a weapons brandishing complaint at Avacados Mexican Restaurant at 108th and Evergreen Way. Seems there was some type of altercation and one car smashed into another. Everett Police detained several people in a car south of Glacier Lanes and were still sorting things out when the attached photos were taken.

Around 3:00am two people were brought into Providence Regional Medical Center by private car suffering from gunshot wounds. Apparently the shooting took place in the University District in Seattle and the victim’s friends brought them to Everett according to the Seattle Police Blotter.

Highway 529 southbound between Marysville and Everett was completely shut down around 4:00am as Everett Police investigate a fatal incident involving a pedestrian. At this time there are no other details available and no word on when the highway will re-open.
