Just before midnight last night the Everett Police Department booked a man into the Snohomish County Jail for suspicion of 2 counts of 2nd degree murder and one count of 1st degree assault in relation to a shooting at a house on 75th street SE. The man was taken into custody after stopping his vehicle at Forest Park and talking with police on a cell phone. King County Sheriff’s Helicopter Guardian 1 posted this video on YouTube as the man surrendered.

Everett Police Major Crime Detectives worked until about 6:00am today processing the scene. There is still no word on the identities of the two deceased or word on the condition of the third person shot. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that the investigation is continuing but there is no active search for additional suspects. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will determine the identities of the victims.
