Wienerschnitzel

This store first opened in Everett back in 1969.

There will actually be a drive up window…

Is there anything more romantic than sharing a chili-cheese dog with the one you truly love at your favorite restaurant? Think of it, sitting between the two of you, a freshly made dog covered from end to end with cheese and steaming chili, fires, one large drink with two straws and a huge pile of napkins. Okay, one person’s chili-cheese dog feast is another’s steak and lobster but if that’s been your tradition for Valentine’s Day, you may need to make other plans. Wienerschnitzel which has been at 5905 Evergreen Way since 1969 is undergoing its first full remodel. The drive thru (which was closed years ago after cars kept scraping their sides on it) is being enclosed and a new ordering window is being added to the north side of the building. For employees, that means no more running out into the rain to bring you your food and change. The remodel is expected to take a few more weeks but hopefully you’ll be able to celebrate spring with a kraut topped polish dog and your sweetie. For now there’s always the Costco $1.50 special.
