You can report what you know without revealing who you are.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is sure someone saw something. Either at the time it happened or later. A car with a broken mirror, a male driver speeding away. On Monday night a 53 year old woman was not in a crosswalk when she tried to dash across 128th street between the Chevron and Shell stations just west of I-5. She died from her injuries. Now the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to come forward. Here’s the latest from Shari Ireton at SCSO…

The 53 year-old Ferndale woman struck by a vehicle as she crossed 128th St SW on Monday night has died.  Detectives have confirmed that she was not in the crosswalk at the time of the collision.  Investigators still seek witnesses and information about the collision.  The vehicle that struck the victim would have sustained front-end damage and would be missing an outside mirror, which was broken and separated from the vehicle during the incident.  Witnesses stated that the driver of the suspect vehicle was male.

The incident was reported Monday, January 26th at 7:40 p.m. at the 200 block of 128th St SW.

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time or was witness to the accident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845.
