Casino Road Shooting Victim Becomes Everett’s 1st Homicide of 2015

Last Wednesday afternoon we told you of a shooting at the Candlewood Apartments on Casino Road in south Everett. At the time it was Everett’s 3rd shooting in three weeks and now we’ve learned the victim died two days after the shooting. We’re just getting notice of that today. The male shot inside an apartment at the Candlewood Apartments (1022 W. Casino Rd) on the 21st died from his injuries on the 23rd. As the family was not notified, a media update was not provided. At this time, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has custody of the body to determine cause and manner of death and will provide identity through their established process.

There are no updates in the investigation as no suspect information has been developed. Detectives continue working the case.
