Woman Safe After Saturday Night House Fire on 75th Street in Everett

9:20pm Update: Assistant Everett Fire Marshal Eric Hicks tells MyEverettNews.com that the fire investigator has determined the fire was caused by a faulty electrical connection. The Red Cross is helping the resident for the night.

8:30pm: Everett Firefighters got a quick stop on a house fire in the 300 block of 75th street SE Saturday Night. An elderly woman was in the house when the fire broke out in a back room around 7:30pm. She was able to get away safely with the help from a neighbor. The flames did travel up into the attic. Still waiting on word on the cause and a damage estimate as Everett fire investigators have just arrived. Here are a few photos taken from the scene. Click to enlarge.
