I-5 crash

Alcohol may have been a factor in this crash on I-5.

Law Enforcement, Firefighters and Emergency Room workers have had their hands full in Everett this New Year’s Eve. Just before 6:00pm, Mill Creek Police served a search warrant at a house in north Everett on a stolen property case. Around 7:30, an intoxicated male with his pants down allegedly tried to come up behind a woman in an alley off Rucker. There was an unconfirmed report of a person showing up at the emergency room at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett with a gunshot wound to the hand. Just before 11pm a roll-over crash on I-5 occurred where a southbound Jeep went over the guard rail and ended up in the northbound lanes of I-5 just north of 75th street and throughout the night there have been numerous reports of fireworks going off all over the city of Everett. Finally, right around midnight, police in central Everett were looking for a man with a gun who’d supposedly threatened a neighbor. All of the above are initial reports and we won’t likely get further details until Friday. A heartfelt thank you to all of our first responders and Happy New Year indeed.
