A hot spot on a roof near a chimney at the Cascade Coffee Roasting Plant on 75th Street SW brought a full response from the Everett Fire Department this morning. A small fire was reported on the roof at the north end of the building. Maintenance crews had the fire out before Everett Fire units arrived. Mutual aid units from Mukilteo and District 1 also responded. Fire crews spent about an hour checking for hot spots and making sure the fire didn’t extend into the building before clearing.
