Unusual Fire At Everett Goodwill

No real damage to the store, but Everett firefighters had a challenge when the box crushing machine behind the Goodwill on Everett Mall Way caught fire Thursday night. Crews were able to keep the fire contained to the crushing machine on the back loading dock though some smoke got into the store. Access to the blaze was a bit of a challenge but nothing that a huge pair of pliers and the right sized hose couldn’t handle. No word yet on the cause of the fire or any damage estimate.
