Huge Beam Tips Over On Way To Port of Everett

A beam being hauled to the Port of Everett Thursday afternoon tipped while being delivered. The beam reportedly weighs more than 100,000 pounds and is 86 feet long. It fell off of its trailer and onto the intersection of W. Marine View Drive and Everett Ave shortly before 5:00pm. Southbound Marine View Drive is being diverted at 25th street and Northbound Marine View Drive is closed at California. No word on when the intersection will re-open.
