At the end of the Everett City Council meeting tonight, Rich Anderson walked over and shook hands with Judy Tuohy. The two were running against each other for council position 7 which Anderson was appointed to after the resignation of Shannon Affholter last year. Quick work by Everett Police led to the arrest of a bank robbery suspect from the Mountain Pacific Bank at 37th and Broadway in Everett. Update Wednesday November 5th: In a release of newly counted ballots Wednesday Judy Tuohy continues to lead Rich Anderson. The current count shows Tuohy with 6010 votes to 4431 for Anderson.
