Pedestrian Hit Crossing Evergreen Way in South Everett

Evergreen car-pedEverett Police are still gathering details following a truck vs. pedestrian crash at 118th and Evergreen Way in south Everett. The crash happened about 7:00am when a 69-year-old man was trying to cross 6 lanes of Evergreen Way in front of the Starbucks just south of the Wal-Mart. Two lanes of traffic were able to stop for the pedestrian but he was struck by a small pickup truck in the 3rd lane. That driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with Everett police. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening and the investigation is ongoing.
