Everett Animal Cats

Sunny (l) and Spooky (r) are just two of the cats available at special adoption prices this month.

While cute kittens get the attention, adult cats know how to share the love. For the rest of this month the Everett Animal Shelter is going to help that along by lowering the price to adopt an adult cat. Here’s everything you need to know from this press release courtesy of the Everett Animal Shelter.

The Everett Animal Shelter is offering special fall prices for cats and kittens from now through the end of October.

“We currently have more than 100 adult cats that are ready for their forever homes,” said Dee Cordell, the shelter operations coordinator. “This is a great time to bring your family out to the shelter to see all of our adorable, friendly cats and kittens. No matter what your lifestyle, we have a cat that will fit your home.”

Through Oct. 31, the shelter is offering adoption specials for cats from all age ranges. “We’re calling it our ‘Fall Feline Friskiness’ event,” said Cordell.

Kittens, six months and younger, can be adopted for $75, and adult cats that are one year or older can be adopted for just $25.

The Groovy Classic Cat Club is for seniors 65 years and older who are looking to adopt cats seven years and older. All cats in the Groovy Club will be $10 for the month of October.

All shelter adoptions include:

  • Spaying or neutering
  • Microchipping
  • Vaccinations (first set)
  • Dewormer
  • Flea treatment
  • Feline leukemia test
  • 30-day pet health insurance
  • Collar and portable carrier

There is an additional $10 pet-licensing fee required at the time of the adoption.
