Downtown Everett Post Office Now For Sale

We told you in January of this year that the City of Everett was taken by surprise when the Postal Service announced several upcoming changes in Everett. One of those changes appears to be underway as the downtown Everett Post Office located at Pacific and Hoyt is now listed for sale. There is no current asking price as it looks like they are open to offers. The buyer may have to agree to a short-term tenancy for the Post Office until they can find another smaller location somewhere in downtown Everett. It is one of the few full blocks available for sale as a single parcel in downtown Everett. According to the sales flyer the property is zoned B-3 (Central Business District, City of Everett; permitted uses include residential, office, retail restaurant, entertainment, lodging and recreational).
