The annual Days of Caring sponsored by the United Way of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers for a number of projects in Everett. They’ve extended the deadline to apply to this Wednesday, with the work to be done this Friday and Saturday. In addition to projects in Everett, volunteers are needed in the surrounding communities as well. You can click here for a full list of available projects.

Here’s just a bit about what the Days of Caring is all about from the United Way of Snohomish County website…

Days of Caring starts with you! At the 21st annual Days of Caring, we will literally build strength in community together. Building fences. Painting homes. Restoring hope. Giving back.

Our vision is bold: 1,000 volunteers giving 5,000 hours in 2 days. Organize a team or sign up as an individual and join us. Because reaching out a hand to one influences the condition of all.
