It’s in a new location this year, Evergreen Middle School, but the mission remains the same. Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is an annual, one-day event that brings together, in a single location, a wide variety of community volunteers and services for homeless people. Direct services are provided on site to help combat homelessness and related issues. Currently volunteers are needed to staff several important positions on Wednesday July 9th for set-up and Thursday July 10th for the actual event. Click here to learn more about the available volunteer positions.

Coordinated by the United Way of Snohomish County and conducted by dozens of partners here are some of the services that are available to those experiencing homelessness…

In 2013 1,202 people received some form of help at Project Homeless Connect at Cascade High School.

If you’d like to find out more information on how to get involved this year you can contact Megan Farwell at United Way of Snohomish County, 425-374-5543.

Also the number one way people who used the services last year found out about the event was word of mouth so if you know someone who could benefit from one or more of the above services, do tell them about their chance to get assistance on July 10th at Evergreen Middle School in south Everett.
