Everett Police Investigate Saturday Morning Shooting on East Casino Road

12:30pm Update from Everett Police: Everett Police Sgt. Dalberg tells MyEverettNews.com that the person who was shot is a man in his 40s. He suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the neck. Dalberg says a language barrier and lack of cooperation are both hindering the investigation and urged anyone with information to call the Everett Police Tip line at 425-257-8450.

More questions than answers right now as Everett Police investigate the shooting of a man on East Casino Road Saturday morning. Everett Police Sgt. Ryan Dalberg has confirmed to MyEverettNews.com that about 7:30 am officers received a report of a man who’d been shot. Arriving officers found a man in the Casino Square shopping center at 205 East Casino Road with injuries. Aid crews were called and the man was transported to Providence Everett Medical Center. Dalberg says at this time the extent of his injuries are not known. Patrol officers cordoned off the area, brought in a K-9 to search for suspects and evidence and now major crime detectives are trying to determine what happened. The Casino Square parking lot is now back open and businesses are operating as normal. We’ll provide further updates as they become available.
