Here’s what information we have on an attic fire this afternoon in central Everett. It comes in a press release from Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson…
Everett Fire Department crews responded to a reported attic fire in the 2300 block of Monroe Avenue today at 5:00 p.m. Arriving crews found smoke coming from an attic vent with no fire or smoke inside the residence. Crews quickly vented the roof and also attacked the fire from the interior and had it knocked down in a few minutes. The cause of the fire is being investigated. No one was injured. Investigation results will be released tomorrow. Some crews have departed and the remaining crews are picking up gear and ensuring no hot spots remain.
