Everett Police made a quick stop on a suspect after a bank robbery Monday afternoon

Everett Police have now arrested a man following a late afternoon bank robbery. According to Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell, a male went into the Chase Bank in front of the QFC at 4800 Evergreen Way around 5:15 this afternoon. He reportedly showed a bank teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and the man left the bank. After the alarm sounded, an arriving officer saw a man matching the description of the robbery suspect and attempted to talk to him. The man began to run from the officer and after a foot chase, he was stopped in the 4300 block of Hoyt. Major Crime Scene Detectives are now at the bank and have arrested the suspect for bank robbery. Snell says he is a 34 year old and will be booked into jail after detectives have finished their interviews.
