Everett Police seek box cutter bandit

The Everett Police Department is seeking your help to identify a violent robber.

At noon on January 20th, 2014, a male victim was outside his place of work at 909 SE Everett Mall Way smoking a cigarette. A male suspect approached and engaged the victim in a short conversation before demanding money. When the victim told the suspect he did not have any money, the suspect reacted by swinging his right arm across the victim’s body while holding a box cutter in his hand. The victim sustained a superficial wound to his forearm and the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his late teens to early 20s, about 5’5” tall and weighs around 125 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a cleft lip.
