I think we are all hoping he didnt do it…hope for the best but prepare for the worst. My heart is heavy, two lives destroyed and many others devistated. My mom is on her way to G’s mother’s house now to comfort or at least distract her for a while. I know Aunt S is just blown away. :”(

  2. Unknown Says:

I’m confused? If he isn’t guilty then why confess? If he is mentally ill then why did he do an absolute outstanding job in getting into her room with the wire coat hanger ( why did she have the security system installed?) then throw her stuff all over the place, clean himself up and dispose the evidence? Also where is the biological mother in all this??? Why has she not come forth smd said something- even to support the boy? Seems very odd! Personally, I think he did it and he will more than likely be out in s few years to possibly murder again; yes, MURDER!

  3. Liz Says:

You are very right Alicia, this tragedy is once again a failure of our limited mental health programs. Putting everyone in harms way. I know b well and am afraid of his future. These children grow up to possibly be serial killers. He has his first victim. A very wonderful soul! This all is very disturbing. The rules are very different for the mentally ill. My heart goes out to family and friends.

  4. Alicia S. Says:

He did it..I’m horrified. I pray that my sweet friend didn’t feel fear or pain. And I’m disgusted that B will not receive the punishment that fits this crime. He will likely spend the next few years in a psychiatric ward and eventually be released to an inpatient treatment center and then into society. I don’t believe that this was a mental break, or psychiatric episode..he tryed too hard to cover his tracks. And Liz is right..only a psychopath goes to school all day after brutally murdering their mother. It’s unforgivable. Sadly, Gina is another example (victim) of mental healthcare that failed..this should not have happened. It could have been avoided. I love her more for never giving up on him..that’s what mothers do. I can’t help but feel vengeful toward B..if it were up to me he would never see the light of day. I will miss my friend everyday and never forget all of the laughs and tears we shared over the past 20+ years.

beautifully said, private friend.I knew G but only in passing, wish I could have known her better. Get to know your family before it’s too late.I hope the boy didn’t do this and somebody does comfort him also.

  6. Private Friend Says:

Just for the record, many people love Gina and are crying over her loss. I admired her love and dedication, her selflessness to and for her children, especially B. She was a beautiful human being who never gave up on her son. I am heartbroken and will miss her. We all are dealing with this in our own ways, we have to in order to survive this double tragedy that has come into our lives. Do not judge the measure of a person’s love for another person based on what you see on television. I am not defending anyone here, I am just asking that you respect the pain we, her family and friends, are experiencing when you voice your comments. Thank you.

  7. Liz Says:

    So sorry Laurie!

  8. Laurie Says:

OMG just found out G is my family, her mother is my grandmother’s sister. :'(

  9. Liz Says:

There have been many that know B. With all due respect, he is a psychopath and needs to be protect from harming himself and others. This is no big surprise. G was doing the best she could and I agree she wants the best for him. Once again, this was predicted and talked about with g many times. Her choice was to keep on trying with him. She sealed that with her own blood.

  10. Alicia S. Says:

Please don’t mistake “sensitivity” with “leniency in punishment”. The guilty party should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law…the courts have yet to establish that. I know about “B’s” problems..I also know that “G” would be horrified and absolutely heartbroken if he was wrongfully accused and prosecuted in the court of public opinion.

  11. unknown Says:

I do know this family very very well and I know just how sick that boy is. I am sure they are going through a lot, but a mother is dead. This isn’t a time for sensitivity. I think he did it, all evidence found at the scene of the crime points to the boy. I do hope he’s found innocent but for now, that is my opinion.

    *ever

  13. Alicia S. Says:

Please be sensative with your comments. This family is suffering more then most of us will never have to know.

  14. Stephanie Says:

Please let’s think here…all facts are in!! Unknown, if this was your own family you wouldn’t be so quick to judge. Also just because someone has a mental illness, doesn’t make them a murderer!!

  15. unknown Says:

Well as I understand the 16 year old also has a mental illness.
As I was told the woman goes to work before he leaves to school, meaning he would have noticed her home. Maybe, she was killed in the early morning hours, the mess was cleaned and the boy went to school.

Obviously, the woman above me is related to them, but honey you need to think. You’re going to defend a sick MURDERER.

Everett police gave information of an assumption. Not legal documentation information. I was there with the detectives when he was put in custody. He is in for one week until the labs clear. Brad gives himself enough time about twenty minutes. Just to get dressed, eat Then leaves to catch school bus. How on earth would he have time in between all that to kill and to clean. Think people!!
