Things are back to normal now but it was a wild scene as Snohomish County Deputies chased a wanted felon from north Everett into the heart of downtown. Here the official word from Shari Ireton at S.C.S.O…

For the second time today, the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force has taken a wanted felon into custody, following a brief pursuit.

At around 3 p.m., deputies with the task force located the 27 year-old suspect at the 1800 block of Baker Ave. He fled and law enforcement pursued him to the corner of Wetmore and Everett Aves., where the suspect rammed a deputy vehicle.

The suspect will be booked in the Snohomish County jail after medical evaluation. No injuries were reported.
