Woman Shot, Man Stabbed at South Everett Apartment

Everett Police Major Crimes detectives are at an apartment inside the Walden Pond Apartments at 9900 12th Ave. W. in south Everett. According to Everett Police Public Information Officer Aaron Snell, around 5pm Everett Police officers received a call of shots fired at an apartment. Arriving officers found a woman inside an apartment was dead from apparent gunshot wounds while a man was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Snell says the man was taken to an Everett hospital but the severity of his injuries is not known. There were also two children inside the apartment at the time of the call. They were not hurt and have been taken into protective custody. Right now detectives are just starting their investigation and there are far more questions than answers. No further updates are expected tonight.
