Baker’s Dozen Vie For 5 Everett Retail Marijuana Licenses

13 businesses have filed for the five slots available to sell retail marijuana in the city of Everett next year. The Washington State Liquor Control Board is now conducting background checks and evaluating all of the applications to make the decision on who gets a license and who does not. 11 applicants have filed to be producers and grow marijuana while 9 applications have been received from those who want to process marijuana within the Everett city limits.
