Downtown Everett Holiday Stroll

In a combined marketing effort, the folks at ExperienceEverett.com (which is funded by the City of Everett) have partnered with DowntownEverett.com (funded by Skotdal Real Estate) to urge people to shop businesses and restaurants in the downtown Everett core. The two have partnered on a website HolidaysinEverett.com that lists special offers, coupons and provides a map highlighting participating merchants. (click on the logo above to visit the site) The site also features a preview of upcoming holiday events as well as a map of available parking. The Chamber of Commerce in Everett disbanded back in 2011 and was folded into Economic Alliance Snohomish County and moved out-of-town. Since then there have been few opportunities for businesses in Everett to promote themselves in a joint campaign. Hopefully this example of a city funded and privately funded partnership will expand out of the downtown core so that businesses in all of Everett will be able to be highlighted on special days like Shop Small Saturday.
