Everett Mayor’s Statement on 777X Vote

I am very disappointed that the Machinists union did not have enough votes to support the contract extension that would have ensured that the 777X is built in Everett. Boeing’s impact is felt across Washington state and a yes vote would have signaled that we are ready and willing to support the next generation of Boeing airplanes.
