MoxieUsually you think of bunnies during Easter but Halloween has brought so many bunnies to the Everett Animal Shelter that Bunnyland is bursting. The shelter is currently at capacity for rabbits and guinea pigs and has had to temporarily suspend intake on those animals.

Everett Animal Shelter officials are asking people to consider adopting a bunny or guinea pig. As an added incentive, as part of the Bunnyland promotion, adoptive families will receive a discount for spaying or neutering their new pet at Kamaka Exotic Animal Veterinary Services in Mountlake Terrace. It costs $15 to adopt a rabbit or guinea pig.

At last count there are more than a dozen rabbits and guinea pigs available for adoption. You can see their pictures and learn their stories by clicking here.
