Everett’s Annual Tip-A-Cop Raises Funds For Special Olympics

Everett Tip A Cop Event

Everett Officers with a special Olympian

It looked like a good time yesterday at the Everett Red Robin as Everett Police participated in the annual Red Robin Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. “Tip-A-Cop” is an official Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign fundraising event. Everett officers waited tables, did a few handcuff demonstrations and gave badges to prom-goers all to raise funds for Special Olympics. Law enforcement officers and department personnel volunteer their time as “Celebrity Waiters” to collect tips at Red Robin Restaurants to support Special Olympics Washington. No word yet on how much was raised in Everett but the goal of the event Statewide was to raise $150,000.00.
