The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man shot to death last night in south Everett as 39-year-old Robert James Scott, Junior of Everett. The Medical Examiner says he was killed by a gunshot wound to the chest. Everett Police have made an arrest and say they believe the crime was likely drug related. The shooting remains under active investigation by the Everett Police Major Crimes Unit. Everett Police originally reported the victim was from Seattle.
