A pipeline project could restrict water use in Everett this week

A heads up from the city of Everett and Snohomish PUD over work on a main water line…

Snohomish County PUD will begin Maintenance work Sept. 25 on a water pipeline serving the Snohomish County PUD Jackson Hydroelectric Project and city of Everett water treatment plant. The pipeline is expected to be out of service for about six days.

The work should not impact the water supply for normal household use. However, it may impact water availability for yards and other outside water use. Should demand exceed supply, the city, PUD and Snohomish County water systems may ask customers to temporarily reduce outdoor water use.

This project is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that Snohomish County homes and businesses continue to receive reliable and high-quality energy and water services.
