Hazel Marrs benefit

The garage sale to benefit Hazel runs from 8:30am – 3pm at Cottage Ave. Park in Snohomish

There is a huge garage sale this Saturday to benefit Hurricane Hazel, a great kid who on June 25th was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Wilms tumor. Hazel underwent treatment at Children’s in Seattle and is back home continuing with ongoing treatment and chemo. Members of the Everett Police Officer’s Association Family Connections Group are organizing and staffing a garage sale Saturday at Cottage Avenue Park in Snohomish to help Hazel’s family with medical expenses. You can follow Hazel’s journey here on the Caring Bridge Website. From what I’ve learned she’s a great kid with an inspiring story and the impacts of her journey on Hazel, her family and friends are something to read. In addition to some amazing garage sale buys, there are also cookies for sale and even front row tickets to the Oak Ridge boys concert at the Evergreen State Fair to help raise funds for Hazel’s medical expenses. The sale will run from 8:30am – 3:00pm at Cottage Ave. Park.
