Nearly Two Dozen Everett Neighborhoods to Participate in Night Out Against Crime

Years ago Everett used to celebrate National Night Out by having one large event at the Everett Mall. Now, individual neighborhoods have taken over the celebration truly bringing neighbors together for a night. Currently there are more than 20 events planned for Tuesday August 6th. Here’s the list so far and a request from Everett officials to be sure to invite them to your neighborhood event…

Night Out

National Night Out is Tuesday August 6th

National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event and the Everett Police Department wants to participate with you! We encourage you to get together with friends and neighbors you don’t know. Neighbors who know each other are more likely to call 911 when crime is happening. The goal is to let criminals know crime isn’t tolerated in Everett.

Let us know about your event so police officers can attend to meet you and answer questions about crime prevention. Other city departments also offer NNO site visits. These are: Everett Fire, Everett Transit, Everett Emergency Management (CERT) and others.

Notify us of your event and submit visit requests to:

Office of Neighborhoods and Crime Prevention will work together and coordinate available resources since we cannot make every event. We will do our best!
