Firefighters Use Jaws of Life to Free Victims From 112th and Airport Road Crash

July 6, 2013

Everett Fire

Firefighters from Fire District 1, Paine Field Fire and the Everett Fire Department worked together to free a woman from a crash Saturday evening that sent her and two young boys to Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Investigators were trying to determine exactly what caused a car heading south on Airport road to strike a pickup truck going westbound on 112th. The impact sent the car into a light pole at the intersection and firefighters had to use the jaws of life to free the woman. No word yet on her condition or that of the two boys who were also in the car. The pickup driver and his young son were not hurt. The case is being investigated by Everett Police. Here are some pictures from the scene.
