Everett Police are looking into the circumstances of a crash Friday night where a person died after being thrown from a vehicle on northbound 529 between Everett and Marysville. Officer Aaron Snell of the Everett Police Department says witnesses reported a late 90s Ford Explorer driving erratically on northbound 529 around 6:30pm. It hit a barrier, rolled completely over, ejecting a passenger and then continued down the highway leaving the roadway near Steamboat Slough. Everett Firefighters had to extract the driver from the SUV. Snell says the driver was a man in his 40s believed to be from Ocean Shores. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. No word yet on the identity of the person who died at the scene. 529 was closed for several hours while investigators collected evidence at the crash.
