No Injuries in Early Morning Everett Fire

Everett Firefighters prevented a motor home fire from destroying a house in south Everett early this morning. Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson just issued the following press release…

Everett Fire Department crews responded to a reported recreational vehicle fire spreading to the house in the 10600 block of 10th Drive SE at 4:17 a.m. today. Arriving crews battled the RV fire and extinguished the fire which had spread to the attic of the attached garage. The fire was reported out at 4:39 a.m. The two residents of the home evacuated safely. There were no injuries to the residents or firefighters. The RV was a total loss. Damage to the home is estimated at about $30,000. The cause of the fire which apparently started in the engine compartment of the RV remains under investigation.
