Everett Firefighters Make Quick Stop in Casablanca Apartment Blaze

casablanca fire BEverett Firefighters were able to get a quick stop on a fire in a ground floor unit at the Casablanca Apartments in south Everett Tuesday afternoon. The fire damaged the contents of one apartment but did not extend into the walls or into other units according to the battalion chief on the scene. At the time of this writing an investigator had not arrived. The Red Cross was called to help out at least one family displaced due to damage. There were no injuries and no damage estimate is yet available.
