Originally Faulkner’s Pharmacy, the Everett Clinic has provided pharmacy services at Main Campus since 1963.
Seattle-based Bartell Drugs has announced the purchase of two pharmacies, located in Everett and Marysville, from The Everett Clinic.The pharmacies will be operated by family-owned Bartell Drugs starting Monday, June 10.
Customers and patients with prescriptions at both pharmacies now have the added convenience of having them filled at any of Bartell Drug’s 60 locations.
The pharmacies are located in the Founder’s Pharmacy Building on the Clinic’s Everett Campus (3901 Hoyt Avenue, Everett) and at the Marysville Clinic (4420 76th St. NE, Marysville). Both are pharmacy-focused but also offer a limited inventory of over-the-counter medications, “essentials” items, as well as wraps, braces and other recovery aids.
“The Everett Clinic is well respected and shares many of our values regarding serving patients and customers. The acquisition of these pharmacies allows both organizations to work together to strengthen their presence in Snohomish County,” said Bartell Drugs Chairman and CEO George D. Bartell. Bartell said the majority of the pharmacists and technicians formerly employed by The Everett Clinic have been retained in the transition.
