Everett Crash Victim Dies – Driver of Stolen Truck to Face Murder Charge

Everett Police report that the woman, whose car was struck by an allegedly stolen truck late Sunday night, has died from her injuries. Everett Police Sgt. Ryan Dalberg provided MyEverettNews.com with this sad update…

The female victim of the serious injury collision on May 12, 2013 died overnight at Harborview Medical Center. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body to determine identity as well as cause and manner of death.

In conjunction with the injury collision, the driver of the stolen pickup was arrested at the scene and booked by Bothell Police Department on May 13, 2013 for charges unrelated to the collision. The driver, a 33 year-old Seattle man, has been identified as Joseph A. Strange. Based on the ongoing investigation, Everett Police will be booking Strange into the Snohomish County Jail for Murder in the first degree (RCW 9A.32.030).
