Everett Lacrosse Team to Play “Home” Championship Game in Canada
Saturday the Stealth travel to British Columbia Canada to take on a team from Rochester, New York for the NLL Championship.
Normally the Washington Stealth play their home games inside Comcast Arena at Everett. Because of scheduling conflicts with Comcast Arena at Everett hosting a Christian Music and Worship event, Roller Derby at Key Arena, Boys High School Basketball at Showare in Kent and even Sesame Street Live at the Tacoma Dome, the Stealth will play for the National Lacrosse League Championship at the Langley Events Centre in Langley B.C. The only other choice was to give up “home” advantage and travel to Rochester, New York.
Here’s what the Washington Stealth have to say on their web page…
Everything is on the line this Saturday as the Washington Stealth face-off against the Rochester Knighthawks in Langley, B.C. for the NLL Championship at 4pm.
Due to arena event conflicts throughout the Puget Sound and the North American live broadcast of the game on CBS Sports, the game will be located in British Columbia’s beautiful Langley Events Centre located just 10 minutes across the border. For fans without passports or who are unable to make the drive, we apologize. Arenas from Everett to Tacoma were booked and the only alternative was to give up the hosting rights to the Rochester Knighthawks.
The official away viewing party will be at Sporty’s Beef & Brew in Everett. Don’t miss a second of the action!

The Stealth have put together a bus package for those who want to go to B.C. You’ll need both game tickets and a valid passport.
