The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office today identified 54 year-old Jay R. Griffin from Everett as the man who died in a rafting accident on the Stillaguamish River on Sunday. Griffin and a female were rafting when they got into trouble. Several people saw the couple in peril and called 9-1-1. Both were pulled from the river but Griffin could not be revived.
