Everett Silvertips Make WHL Playoffs for 10th Straight Year

While their last regular season game is today the Everett Silvertips will continue to play into the post season. It’s been a rough year for the ‘tips with the firing of their coach. Everett is the 8th seed in the playoffs and will face the top seeded Portland Winterhawks. Here’s the schedule and playoff information as provided by the Silvertips…

The Everett Silvertips will be the eighth seed in the Western Conference and face the #1 Portland Winterhawks in the opening round of the 2013 Western Hockey League playoffs.  After clinching their 10th consecutive playoff berth on Friday, the Silvertips saw their playoff fate decided through Saturday’s results and will square off against the Winterhawks for the second time in three years to open the postseason.
